Prudential Center
Prudential Center hosts over 200 events per year including the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, NBA’s New Jersey Nets, NCAA’s Seton Hall Men’s Basketball, concerts, and special events.

Newark Museum
NJ’s largest museum featuring world-class art collections and natural science exhibits throughout 80 galleries. On view now: Gustav Stickley and the American & Crafts Movement.

NJ Historic Society
This statewide, nonprofit museum, founded in 1845, houses a library and archives. Located in Newark’s downtown cultural district, it preserves a collection of New Jersey’s rich history and diverse culture.

Newark Symphony Hall
Built in 1925, this cultural center welcomes visitors to enjoy symphony, ballet, opera, professional theater groups and popular music performances.

Bethany Baptist Church
Since the year 2000 a new Ministry was born at Bethany. We now “Worship the Lord to the Sounds of Jazz”. Our Jazz Vespers also include light refreshments afterwards, giving you time to meet and greet our musicians.

Newark Arts Council (Open Doors Gallery Tour)
The Open Doors Artist’s Studios and The Open Doors Artist’s Studios and Available Space Tour features a number of curated and juried exhibitions highlighting local artists while showcasing available artists’ space and performance art.

Red Bull Arena
State of the art soccer-specific facility, located in Harrison, & is the new home of the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer (MLS) and hosts several sporting events.

Newark Public Library
NPL is a regional center for research. In addition to an array of reading material, the library is home to many historical displays and comprehensive databases.

Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is more than a monument. She is a living symbol of freedom to millions around the world. Ferries to Liberty Island are available at Liberty State Park.

A transportation hub, Newark is easy and convenient to reach by numerous means of transportation. Visitors from various locations in the country, Metropolitan area, or the state of New Jersey can arrive at Newark Penn Station, in the heart of downtown Newark. The Newark Liberty International Airport also transports thousands of visitors a day right into the city. Newark is also conveniently located nearby the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95), the Garden State Parkway, I-280, and I-78.
